British Columbia, a Province of Canada
British Columbia, is my favorite destination for vacation.br> Together with Dagmar Barthruff (died in 2000) and with Mrs. and Mr. Kreye we've had many good holidays. Mostly with campfire talks every evening.
Most of the pictures are from a tour in 1993, but Vancouver is a rapid changing city.
many grazing land, fantastic valleys with sometimes scanty and sometimes abundant vegetation.
an impressive massif
were the Forrest Campgrounds that we found allways close to water and mostly way down in nature.
No signs of much tourism, I love it.
are little birds you will not see very often. In the winter time, they have white feathers.
there is a ferry close to Quesnel that will bring you to the other site. The road on the west side of the Fraser is a gravel road, but therefore much nicer than the tourist crowded paved road east.
Takakkaw Falls, the roaring sound can be heard from far away.
greated also by the kids, who are grown ups today.
Richard is on Highschool (or maybe he has finished it yet.)
more in the National Museum in Victoria. Nobody should pass this museum, even a detour is worth a visit! I haven't seen any museum like this one.
