NamibiaNamibia is a country that devides the people into two groups: Ether one loves Namibia with all ones hart and will go to there as much as possible, or one dislike it totally and stays at home. Ich love it. The jumping lion is the emblem of Twyvelfontein. Here you can find gravures on the rocks which are about 6,000 years old. Our accomodation were the Bushman-huts. "Muramba Bushman Trails" is located in north Namibia close to the city Tsintsabis. There you can hear many things about history and living, about farming and the Bushman people. And about what happens to the country because of the to intensive grassing from the herds. It's very funny to walk the dunes of Sossusvlei and of Swakopmund, it's just fascinating.
Elefants, we have seen lots of them at Etosha Pan. A rest area with a shadow place was important to me during lunchtime.
In the wintertime you can be very cold easily in Namibia. But only if the sun is not shining or during the night. When we visited the Himbas we listened closely to them when they were talking about their traditionel way of life. We were very lucky because other tribes in the north showed us some of their old dances and explained them to us too.
